Do you know any couples that have been married for a very long time?

~ The longest married couple I know is probably my brother and sister-in-law, they were married 26 years ago.

What are you tired of people telling you?

~ That I should try for a kidney transplant. I've been in dialysis for four years. I had a surgery last week where my right thigh catheter was declotted and removed and a graft was put in my left. I reeeeally don't want to live my life with two tubes hanging on my leg, so I told my dialysis social worker "OK, it's time to be tested"

Which type of ice cream do you prefer?

~ Anything with chocolate chunks and peanuts, my favorite is Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream

Do you have a little sister?

~ Yes, she's my only sister, and has been my greatest aid in my years of troubles and sickness

What was the last movie you watched on TV?

~ An entire movie? Can't remember, I usually lose attention

If the internet was not available right now, what would you do instead?

~ Write in my journal, watch TV, maybe read a book

~ Kinda, in a soft voice

~ Yes! They're freakin' adorable!

~ Haunted house! I love ghost hunting!

~ I believe I had a few sips at some weddings. Wasn't crazy about it, which is why it was just a few mere sips.

Are there any seashells in your room?

~ Yes! I love seashells!

What was the reason for the last time you went outside?

~ To get inside a cab to go to dialysis

Do you like fruity or minty gum?

~ Depends on my mood, I like both

Are you looking forward to any day of this month?

~ Well, being that tomorrow is the last day of the month, I guess I'm looking forward to tomorrow

What was the last graduation you attended?

~ Five years ago, when my sister graduated from nursing school

Do you rummage through the $5 movie bin at Walmart every time?

~ I don't recall ever being in a Walmart!

What day of the week do you usually do laundry?

~ My sister comes to pick up my laundry for me. I walk with a walker now and my machines are two stories down in my condo.

Do you like using air fresheners?

~ Yes! Love them! And incense!

Are your nails ever painted red?

~  Nope. They haven't been painted for a long long time, but if I were to paint them I wouldn't choose red. I don't dislike red, it's just not my favorite.

When you were a baby, did you have a favorite blanket?

~ Yes, I remember a green blanket I kept with me

Ever been on a cruise?

~ Does the Bob-Lo boat count? I use to love that!

Would you rather go to Alaska or Russia?

~ Alaska

Strawberries or bananas?

~ Strawberries, bananas aren't allowed on a renal diet

Are you wearing socks?

~ Yes! And a shoe from my podiatrist

When’s the last time you went to the mall?

~ Haven't been in a major mall for quite some time. Can't remember the last time! I was in a strip mall with my sister last week to eat in a Coney.
